he was on for Putting in Phil coke in that 8th Inning instead of Phil Hughes who had pitched in the third game against the Red Sox but only thrown 4 pitches LOL.. because if the yankees lost this 4th game because he brough Phil Coke in , in the 8th, instead of Phil Hughes.. Girardi Would have been put on a Spit and Roasted like a Suckling Pig LOL
