What to do for my 2 1/2 year old guinea pig that lost her companion?

uhmmm yah i think that getting a bunny would be fine if its seperate cages and make sure you watch them when they play because bunnies can be a bit rough on smaller animals you know kicking and jumpping on them things of that nature..
