Will a section 39 caution for common ault prevent me from teaching?

Basically, whilst on a night out with friends I found out that my boyfriend of 4 years had been unfaithful with a girl he worked with in a bar. We were in the bar when I found out this and out of sheer heartache and upset I threw a pint of beer over the girl. She called the police and I was arrested and given a caution under section 39 common ault. I am hoping to pursue a career in teaching but now I am very worried it will impact my chances on gaining a place on a university course as I will need to do a CRB and this will show up. Any advice/information would be muchly appreciated.
