feeding and dealing with all the negative, ignorant people?

I can completely agree with what you say and its such a shame. On Y/A you get more people comment on people who don't feed than on questions from people who do. Unfortunately society's view on feeding is pretty bad. I help out at a cafe which is purely for supporting feeding women, and in my area, its attended pretty well with some mums able to feed till their children are at least 6 months old. But the figures are still at only about 30%. Its a great thing to be able to do this for your child, don't listen to the negative comments, cos you'll never please everybody!!
