Picking groomsmen outfits?

We are getting married outdoors in Nebraska and it a summer time wedding and we have been going over 2 different options for the attire of the groomsmen. The first one option is short sleeve flannel shirts with blue jeans and brown boots. the second option is nice dress shirt maybe a tie with blue jeans and brown boots. I will be wearing the same thing as them with a dress suede jacket brown color and a tanish white straw cowboy hat. Which one would you pick is what I'm looking for and comments why u would pick it.
