In S3, the rhyme on 'comet' and 'palm it,' though novel, imparted to your poem a tenor not in keeping with what I thought you were trying to convey -- it almost seems to have been done for comic effect. The penultimate line's "trap that I got trapped in" is redundant. I've no doubt that you wrote this from a perspective of sincerity, but for this reader you have failed to make meaning. The lack of punctuation didn't help, though the poem was so simple in syntax that the lack did not add to the confusion. And yet, confusion there was.

You are not even close to being too irrational. You were pregnant and you had an early miscarriage. You are frustrated and heart broken after trying for so long and then finally getting that positive result. I know exactly how you feel. I was 5 weeks pregnant when I had a miscarriage and its the worst feeling in the world going from being ecstatic about conceiving your angel, to heart broken because your angel was meant to be somewhere else. It sucks and it is natural to be emotional after something like that happens. Your child died and there is nothing wrong with grieving for your unborn baby. If it makes you feel better apologize to your friend. I am sure she will forgive you and will be understanding just because she knew what kind of state you were in. I am so sorry for your loss and I really do hope you get your BFP again soon and I hope you give birth to the most beautiful baby. Good luck and don't give up hope. It will happen when it is time. Talk to your Dr about why it hurts (I had a problem with dryness and got Premarin creme, fixed it right up) and talk to BF about what you are feeling and how his help may help him too. And follow thru, don't say "If you help with the dishes, we will have more time to snuggle", then go and play with the kids instead. Can anyone help me find info on Willie Burr Bowen, especially about his musical career or pictures?

Willie Burr Bowen is my great great grandfather. I had always heard stories about him growing up. He was a banjo player that by the time of his death was completely blind (only blind in one eye when he played in young adult hood). I know he used to play with the Uncle Dave Macon band at one time and that he also played at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. When I moved to TN from PA I asked my great great aunt (and one of his youngest daughters) about it and she confirmed it so I know my great grandpa wasn't just making stuff up. I also talked to a guy one time while working in downtown Nashville, and he told me he knew the name very well but couldn't remember the book that he had that had all his musical info in it. I'm working on my "music room" and would like to have his picture up on the wall as well as any other stuff I can find on him.

I can completely agree with what you say and its such a shame. On Y/A you get more people comment on people who don't feed than on questions from people who do. Unfortunately society's view on feeding is pretty bad. I help out at a cafe which is purely for supporting feeding women, and in my area, its attended pretty well with some mums able to feed till their children are at least 6 months old. But the figures are still at only about 30%. Its a great thing to be able to do this for your child, don't listen to the negative comments, cos you'll never please everybody!!

Why do people give out about sims3 so much?

I mean its a brilliant game thats life simulating but yet adds a bit of make believe in the game like vampire's and imaginary friends turning real wich i think is cool....In this game YOU get to be god ..the way EA does the sims is bringing in more EP's and suprize with more and more stuff just like the way they did the base game by starting with typical everyday stuff so we get used to the idea then added world adventure's and then progressed further and further....the game is fun YOU have to make it fun!!! ok mabey you cant to everything like get drunk and that ( funny) but you still have big variety.....I know some people hate this game because of glitches and bugs but at least its something to make fun of and it can always be solved..i never got many glitches in my game only the aging one wich is annoying or a stretchy baby......some people complain of the graphics? Which state is better all around, P.A. or C.A.?

I lived in the southern region of Pennsylvania for most of my life and I don't hate it here but I don't like here either and I'm not really proud of this area at all. I've recently manifested this liking for Southern California with bright sunny weather, beautiful palm trees, and shawtys that are a 10 in the department of attractiveness. I also have lived agonizing years being surrounded by annoying Ravens fans since I'm near the Maryland line and also Steeler fans, all while being a Raiders fan since 2003. It's been rough. This is a serious matter because I feel like I can't really relate to some of these people around here as much as I would like too. When I marry, I want my wife to be a Raiders fan and nothing else lol. I feel like I might fit well living in California rather than here. I know there's economic issues there now but I'm 18. How's the economic crisis going to look in say 2017? I would like to here your opinions though on which state's got it going on period.

Writing is extremely personal, and it's a good idea to make sure it looks professional before opening it up for public opinion. Poetry is all about conscious decision--everything needs to be planned. You didn't include punctuation in your poem, which is a bold decision. If you choose to do that, there should be a significant reason behind it. Also, your inclusion of anaphora, or, the repetition of words in the beginning of a line should also be purposeful. The feelings that are expressed in this poem are something that should really be discussed with a counselor or person you trust, not shown to the public. I rate this -2.

Horse injury. Please help!!?

A bit over a month ago, my horse cut his leg (unsure how), and there was a flap of skin covering most of the wound. My friend told me to clean it, then make up an iodine/sugar paste & put it on the wound & bandage his leg. I did this daily and after a few days, the big flap of skin was gone, but there was still a smaller one on the side of the wound. We poked & prodded at it & found that it was still attached very well. We bandaged the wound & changed the bandage every 2 - 3 days for about 3 weeks., We then left the bandage off & the wound died up and scabbed. About a week later he was running around his paddock & managed to scrap the scab off - so we're basically back to the beginning again (except without the big flap of skin). The smaller flap is now only just attached at the bottom, but I don't want to cut it off because it's a fairly thick chunk of skin & it's obviously still alive because he kicks when i touch it. I've been doing the iodine/sugar thing for 2 days now - hoping that it will detach itself or something! is there anything i can do to make it come off? is there anything I shouldn't be doing? He's not lame & the leg isn't swollen or infected. Help me!!

9 DPO too early to test?

I started charting this month and DH and I BD two days before the scheduled ovulation day. We really want a boy so...anywho.. Now I am having several symptoms but none like the ones from the months before with BFNs! I have had headaches, small but noticeable, minor cramps that feel like AF cramps but AF isn't due till Friday. I have woken up several times during the night because I am so hot! I have to shed layers to get cool. For the past 3 nights I have had very vivid dreams. I can recall extreme details. And the one that made me come here and ask is the fact that yesterday morning when I brushed my teeth I was spitting soooo much blood! Okay today I got my project back that I worked on from a while back. I got an 81% on it! She only told us what to do on a rubric. She did not provide a hard copy of an example to meet her expectations. Yes this is a math statistical paper. In my cl we've never done one before. All we learned how to do was the calculations. She said my paper was disorganized and crap and then she pulls one that looked really well done out of her from another period. All the graphs made from the computer and crap printed out. I did mine on paper by hand because she never explained it to our period. When I told her she did not, she claimed "Yes I did". I hate her. And she made me cry because she wouldn't let me reformat it and crap! Yes that brought me down a grade point so my freaking mad. I talked to one of my other good teachers they said that I should email her and tell her how I was frustrated and crap. I think that's actually a good idea. But she probably won't listen considering the fact that she is a perfectionist and takes her job too seriously!

Hmm it really depends on what is in there and how much of it remains. More than likely the body will heal itself. My personal recommendation is to leave it alone. My co-workers and I are having some really tough issues concerning another co-worker we are having to deal with. She's very controlling and wants to run everything in the facility but she has no authority so she takes it upon herself to put herself in control. Im in DEP right now for the ARMY and we have mandatory meetings we go to every Thursday. Its not really a meeting, its actually PT. yesterday was my first day there and i almost DIED! I couldn't complete the entire running portion of PT, i got this mive head ache and my chest felt like it wanted to explode so i had to stop for about 30 minutes while the recruiters nursed on me until i could continue "good thing this isnt the real deal yet". Physically i appear to be fit 5'8 and weigh 150 and im 20years old. Thing is, i havent been physically active for about 2 years "since i graduated high school". Common sense tell's me that i should start drinking more water and eating more healthy, along with running, stretching and doing push ups and sits up on my own time between PT. I might have just answered my own question but does anybody have any other suggestions i could add to that?

Please help. I have been married for 13 years. We have 2 girls ages 7 & 8. I consider myself a good looking woman. This is the issue: My husband took a job overseas in the UAE. He travels home every 4-8 weeks to spend 2 weeks with us. When he arrives his attention goes immediately to the girls, which I am glad for, but at the same time, I've missed having a husband all that time. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 2 years ago, but have been living with the symptoms for 7 years now. My husband is a physical therapist and will only touch me to work on me if I ask -- so if I don't he rarely offers even knowing how much pain I am in. He just tells me to get out and exercise. Ok, back to when he gets home. He never initiates -- I have to be the one. If I don't ask, he doesn't offer -- it has been two weeks now and he is on his way back to the UAE and has still not touched me. I feel very sad and displaced. I feel extremely unloved. When I ask about an affair he gets angry and says he would never do that to the girls, or me. He is hard to have a conversation with if he has a diference of opinion with me -- he can get very biting and mean in his responses. He tells me when he is home to go rest, as I have very little when he is gone, but sooner or later throws it in my face that all I do is lay down. I try so hard to be active and do everything I can while he is home because I am affraid of upsetting him. I am just at a loss and very unhappy. I don't know what to do. There is no emotional or physical intimacy between us and I find myself begging for our time together. I only have 2 weeks with him, and I wish he wanted to be with me, spend time with me, as much as I do. What do I do? Why is it so hard to get motivated to lose weight?

Im 22 and have type 1 diabetes and coeliac disease. I am overweight and really want/need to lose weight. It is okay for kids at that to still be using a "sippy cup" or "straw cup" but not for the comfort. His teeth actually can be damaged as far as the enamel because of any residual milk and or juice staying in his mouth or by continuously drinking. I realize you did say that he doesnt always drink the liquids in the cup but if there is any in there-he can. The teeth also can be damaged by the sucking just like with a pacifier. Maybe even more so because it is a harder more rigid material. I think the offering it only when he is thirsty and saying "cups are for drinking" is a giid idea. I would also recommend offering a regular cup with just a small amount of juice or milk at a time. Yes i know it can be messy but it doesnt take long for them to get the hang of it. Either that or take it away "cold-turkey" good luck

I would not chance eating it unless it got warm by being thawed in the microwave. The safest way to defrost any food is overnight in the fridge. If you are short on time, you can defrost fish and small amounts of meat or chicken in very cold water. Be sure your fish etc. is in a sealed zip-lock or seal-a-meal bag. Place the sealed bag of food in a container large enough for it to be completely covered by very cold water. Change the water every 20 minutes. Food should never be left to thaw on the counter.

Stewed tomatoes are too watery as they come in the can. You can certainly make pizza sauce from them as long as you cook them long enough to dry them out. Tomato sauce and paste skip that step since they are drier to begin with. Pizza sauce is really pretty much the same as tomato sauce for pasta but needs to be drier and more highly seasoned, because watery sauce will soak the crust and because you use so little that it needs to have lots of flavour or it disappears on the pizza.

Hey, I was ually abused by my brother when i was a little girl. i'm 22 now. I its time to try sleep training. Continue with your bed time routine, then just set him in his cot say nigh nigh etc. When he cries let him go for a few minutes, then go in, give him a little pat mummys here etc. Then in a firm voice say nigh nigh time and leave. This time if he cries leave him a few minutes longer etc. Its really important that you dont pick him up when you go into comfort him! If anyone tells you this harms babies its not true, i had to do this with my eldest. And she is the most loving affectionate child with no problems whatsoever! I know these times are hard but you will get through it!! All the best x x

Night weaning?

my 6 month old daughter keeps me up for most part of the night as she needs to be fed almost all through out the night. its more of comfort sucking than feeding really. i have tried introducing the pacifier, but she spits it right out and she hates it and it makes her cry much more. she has her last solid feed between 8 and 8:30 and then i give her a bath and put her to sleep by 9. but she is up by 9:45 and cries inconsolably till i feed her again. this goes on for most part of the night. can somebody suggest some remedy?

4 month old...sleep help???

All your answers so far have been good. My son, who is now 3 years, was very much the same. All i can suggest as well is if she wont settle pick her up, dont turn lights on, dont talk to her or anything. Just hold her and she if she goes back down, but also at her last feed wrap her up and make sure all her wind is out. Make a difference between day sleeps and night sleeps. Tonight you sleep with one of her blankets and tomorrow have it on you then tomorrow night put it under her head, try giving her a bath then before you feed her at the last feed give her a mage to relax her. She may grow out of it but my little son would wake up and wanna play, then if nothing works just pick her up like i said earlier dont turn on lights or anything and put her in her bouncer, if you wanna put a lamp on in a different room so there is a dim light thats ok then lay down on the couch with her in a bouncer and just go back to sleep, dont talk to her or smile. just put her down and you lay down. She'll get the idea that your not going to respnod to her at night

Any ideas on why i cant sleep at night and what to do about it?

Im up all night. About 5 or 6am I fall asleep and sleep till 2 or 3. or if I do force myself to settle down and go to sleep at say 11pm im up at 5am. I get my day started but by noon I cant keep my eyes open. I lay down for a nap and next thing I know its 5pm. This has been going on for about 6 months. I have tried all the relax at night stuff. warm milk, no caffenine. warm bath with lavender, a night time routine whatever... I go to bed and lay there and roll over and lay there. Wide awake. I bought a fan and tried that thinking maybe I was tooo hot. Before this all started every once in a while I would take tylenol pm and it would knock me out. Now if I take it (and i dont take it every night) it doesnt even faze me a bit. Wide awake. I do have normal everyday stress. No more than any other mom surely. I am at an age where I am begining menopause. I forget what they call it before it actually starts. 2x in 2 years I woke up at night because of night sweats. I use to have a mattress that I had for years. I bought a new mattress about 6 months ago. I use to sleep good on it but not now. I bought new pilllows. I dont know what to do and I can feel myself slipping into that cycle where I am getting stressed over not sleeping. I have been sitting in my livining room about 2 in the afternoon and I get this urge kinda thing to go to bed. I go lay down and Im out for hours. Before this all started I use to be an 7-10 hour person. I required that much sleep. And i slept sound. The roof could blow off and i wouldnt notice. Sometimes I take two or three naps and im up all night.I have no problem falling asleep in the daytime or staying asleep in the day time. Its only at night. What could be wrong with me?? Do you all think it could be hormonal??
